Rallycross

What is Rallycross?

RallyCross is the most widespread and readily accessible form of extreme dirt motorsport in the Sports Car Club of America, and the perfect place to see if you have what it takes to power slide your way to victory. Imagine a scaled down version of a rally stage laid out on a non-paved plot of land where the course is delineated by traffic cones instead of trees or rocks.

  • #FunWithCars

Whether you're new to motorsports or are a seasoned racing veteran, RoadRally offers something for everyone. Ultimately, we all come out to RoadRally events for FUN, so we try to make things as fun as possible with an inexpensive way to drive your car on the street with safe and relaxed environment.

  • Driving and Working

Being an entry level sport means we need to keep costs down. As such, we can't afford to pay workers like at a traditional track day, so part of Rallycross is helping work the event. This can vary from shagging cones on course to helping stage cars in grid or working our timing and scoring computers. No matter your age or physical condition, we have a place for you!

  • Rules and Classing

The classing structure in Rallycross is wonderfully simple. There are only 3 levels of modification: Stock, Prepared, and Modified. The cars are then further split by drivetrain into Front, Rear or All Wheel Drive. It's that easy! There is also a class for tube-frame specialties if you like to build your own toys.

  • Timing and Scoring

Similar to stage rally, every run is added together to get your final time. With no dropped runs, consistency is paramount!

  • National Events

When you're ready to step up the competition (and make a whole lot of new friends), the National Tour offers the opportunity to compete against people from every region of the county. Win a local event, National Tour event and National Championship to earn the coveted Triple Cross award!
